This digital painting is one of my personal favorite’s I’ve done. A mixture of beautiful nature and hippie vibes. One of my favorite parts is the flowers floating around. They were actually pretty simple to create as well!

This painting was done entirely in Procreate on my iPad. Procreate offers several tools for the artist to achieve certain looks. One of the most powerful of these are the drawing guides. For this painting, I utilized the radial symmetry drawing guides to make those lovely flowers you see. On an assisted drawing layer, turn on the radial symmetry drawing guides in the settings and you will begin creating perfectly symmetrical shapes that radiate from the center. This is perfect for drawing designs such as these flowers, but could also be used for creating pieces like mandalas or even a pizza topped with pepperoni! Using the symmetry tools is a fun way to experiment in digital art and can really inspire your creativity.
